Course Objectives The aim of this course is to inform students about various separation techniques and application areas.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to describe terms related to separation methods
  • will be able to describe in an outline how to apply which sorting methods
  • will be able to describe distillation, crystallization, filtration and extraction methods
  • will be able to explain evaporation and adsorption techniques
  • will be able to classify chromatographic methods
Course Description This course includes basic concepts related to separation methods (distillation, crystallization, filtration, extraction, chromatography).
